Paintings
I paint still-life primarily of every day materials—objects that are in my surroundings. They are the stimulus for my work. I paint directly from life which allows me a greater tactile experience and the joy in looking at the objects. Painting for me is the discovery of how I see things. Looking between the spatial illusion and flatness, in choosing the cropping of the composition are a very exciting part for me as well. I am always looking for the next thing to paint. The discovery of colors, texture and objects arranged.
